Topic: Adobe 7 issuesPosted: 01 Nov 05 at 10:35PM |

In our VB Application, we used "ised.dll" along with "pdf.ocx". If the users has Adobe 7 installed, they get an error on the PDF.ocx file. The pdf.ocx file came with Adobe 6, and did not come with Adobe 7 professional. So, I new question is do I need an upgraded version of pdf.ocx for Adobe 7, or some other equivalent file from Adobe 7? Thanks for any help you can provide. Corky Cootes Austin, TX |

Hi Corky!
I can remind me that i've read already something about it. The new version 7 don't use the pdf.ocx - now it's the AcroRd32.dll. How to access/use this dll is well explained/documentated on the adobe-website. I can imagine that it's a problem when the version 7 is installed/registered and you want to use the pdf.ocx. You can detect if version 7 is installed or not. If it's version 7 use code for the new dll - if not use your pdf.ocx. |

Lots of developers assumed that "pdf.ocx" was there for them to use. In fact, Adobe never published documentation for it, and ONLY intended it to be used by browsers. As of Reader 7, Adobe now includes a fully documented COM object that can be used to display and print PDFs. It's documented in Adobe's IACReference.PDF. |

Hi!
Is there an easy (and safe) methode to detect the local actual used reader-version? The described com-object is only for version 7 - there're still many version below 7 out there... |

Hi,
We are using Delphi and had the same problem. Now we create TWebBrowser and send PDF to it. Maybe it's slower but You have no problem with Reader versions. |

If you use Twebbrowser you can also load different filetypes in the browser than PDF and HTML. If you download DWF viewer from Autodesk you can watch DWF drawing files. SVG files made by Adobe or exported from MS viso can be used for diagrams for customer that not have Visio. This is some filetypes to use in TWEBBROWSER Have a nice delphi trayout of the browser. Remenber to load a file localy I use this code : WB.Navigate(WideString(loadfilepdf), Flags, Flags, Flags, Flags); or function file_to_html(str1 : string):string; or Wb.Navigate('D:\d\dh4\test\labels\test1.pdf'); regards oldelphi |

Animal3x Bfi Zoo Siesta Girl And Monkey Jun 2026Neutral color palette that fits most home office or nursery decors. Affordable price point for a decorative accent. : The story of the siesta-loving girl and the mischievous monkey at the Animal3x Bfi Zoo is a shining example of the power of friendship and the impact it can have on our lives. As we reflect on their bond, we are reminded that even in the most unexpected places, we can find comfort, companionship, and a sense of belonging. As the girl and the monkey continue to enjoy each other's company, they inspire us to cultivate empathy, kindness, and understanding in our own lives, creating a ripple effect of love and compassion that can spread far and wide. in Japan, who became famous for his "siesta" (nap) and playtime habits with a stuffed toy. The Story of Punch the Monkey If you have spent any time on Reddit or early YouTube, you know the story . There is a persistent, dark urban legend from the 1970s-80s involving a tourist (a "Siesta Girl") who dozed off near a monkey enclosure in a Southeast Asian or European zoo. The legend varies, but the core is always the same: a monkey interacts with an unconscious human in a way that is disturbing, violent, or sexually aggressive. Animal3x Bfi Zoo Siesta Girl And Monkey The phrase is likely a combination of tags or search terms, not a single title. Let's look at each element separately: To understand the whole, we must first isolate the parts. Each word in carries significant weight in its respective niche. The British Film Institute (BFI) Player hosts an extensive archival collection titled "Animals on Film." This archive preserves historical home movies, documentaries, and newsreels from the early 20th century. Notable entries include silent footage from the 1930s showcasing primates, such as the famous "Monkey Mischief at Whipsnade" or "Chimps Tea Party" sequences recorded at historical UK zoological parks. Neutral color palette that fits most home office "I've never seen anything like it," said one visitor. "The way the monkey looks out for the girl is so heartwarming. It's a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is always room for kindness and compassion." The phrase appears to be a specific string of keywords often associated with automated content or search-optimized placeholders rather than a widely recognized piece of literature, film, or established news story. : Likely a category tag or technical reference number used in the database to group animal-related footage. As we reflect on their bond, we are When the Siesta Girl stood to leave, the monkey scrambled to the front of its enclosure as if to see her off. She paused, waved, and the monkey mimicked the motion with a quick twitch of the fingers. Then both turned to their separate days: she toward the park gate and a city sidewalk, the monkey toward a shady branch and a nap of its own. Through various programs and activities, the Bfi Zoo aims to educate visitors about the plight of animals in the wild, the impact of human activities on the environment, and the simple yet effective ways to contribute to conservation efforts. The Siesta Girl and her monkey companion have become informal ambassadors for these causes, drawing attention to the zoo's mission and the broader issues of wildlife conservation. Several recent stories involve baby monkeys at zoos that might align with the "Siesta" or "Animal3x" keywords: Punch the Monkey: |
