A curated 1G1R WiiWare set will be significantly leaner, focusing specifically on the roughly 400-600 unique digital titles released across Japan, North America, and Europe, and then filtering them down to a single entry per game. The “Part 1” designation indicates that even after filtering, the collection is substantial and is being released in manageable chunks—likely for download via platforms like the Internet Archive.
A standard that ensures each game is represented by only its best or most relevant version (usually the latest US revision). This removes duplicates like multiple regional versions (USA, Europe, Japan) of the same game.
Instead of having 5 versions of World of Goo (USA, EUR, Japanese revisions), you have one.
